The Village of West Dundee sought alternative branding to create a more consistent identity across its communications. For the first phase, they were seeking a new logo with a desired retro feel (without appearing outdated), a badge-like shape, and an adaptable, muted color palette.




Solution
Taking inspiration from the Village’s heritage, the new logo is a perfect blend of retro vibes and timeless charm, symbolizing innovation and a forward-thinking approach while staying rooted in tradition and rich history. Capturing that warmth and nostalgia, we crafted a color palette centered on earthy tones to evoke a vintage design vibe. Zeller also gave the Village newsletter an overhaul for a refreshed aesthetic, and designed street banners to demonstrate how the branding could be further applied.
